At the forefront is Isaac Issa, our CEO, whose journey reflects the true spirit and backbone of this industry. Starting as a truck driver and working his way through every level of the business, Isaac has built his career from the ground up—earning firsthand knowledge of every moving part of drayage and intermodal operations. With more than 15 years of real-world experience, his leadership is rooted in authenticity, accountability, and an unmatched understanding of what it takes to execute at a high level.

Isaac is not only a leader—he is a builder. His vision for Legacy was born from experience and driven by a desire to create a company that operates differently: one that is more responsive, more dependable, and more aligned with both driver and customer needs. His hands-on leadership style, combined with his deep operational knowledge, allows him to bridge the gap between strategy and execution—ensuring that decisions made at the top translate seamlessly into performance on the ground.

Alongside him are Mark Duffert, who serves as Chief Financial Officer, and Tom Powers, who serves as Chief Operating Officer.

Mark brings deep financial leadership and industry expertise, having previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Central States Trucking until its acquisition by Forward Air in 2014. Following the acquisition, he continued as Vice President of Finance for Forward Air’s Intermodal Business Unit, where he played a critical role in overseeing financial strategy, operational integration, and scalable growth initiatives through June 2025. His experience navigating both private and public company environments brings a disciplined, strategic financial lens to Legacy’s continued expansion.

Tom’s operational leadership is equally distinguished. He rose through management at Central States Trucking, ultimately serving as Vice President of Operations prior to its acquisition by Forward Air in 2014. He then went on to serve as Vice President of Operations for Forward Air’s Intermodal Business Unit, where he led operations across a network of more than 25 terminal locations nationwide until his departure in June 2025. Tom’s leadership is defined by execution, efficiency, and an unwavering ability to scale operations while maintaining service integrity.

Rounding out the executive team is Luke Kotilnek, who brings strong operational leadership and industry experience to the organization. Prior to joining Legacy, Luke served as Vice President of Bar’Ole Trucking from 2017 until its acquisition in 2023, where he was instrumental in driving performance, strengthening operational structure, and positioning the company for successful growth and transition. He brings a hands-on, results-driven leadership style grounded in accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
